ClearLink, Clarke’s second successful start-up, began with the vision of jumping in to the online marketplace as the rest of the world was getting out in 2001. Clarke founded ClearLink aiming to leverage web-based sales/marketing strategies and applications in the services-to-the-home arena including satellite TV, cable TV and security system sales. As the driving force behind ClearLink, James has positioned the company for tremendous growth for the future and the company continue to grow at a triple-digit pace annually.
With the hiring of a very capable CEO as well as a groomed management team taking the reigns at ClearLink as of January 2006, James now serves as ClearLink’s Chairman, but spends a majority of his time developing real estate in the Deer Valley/Park City, Utah area with his latest venture, The Clarian Group. James also serves on the board of SuperGen (NSDQ: SUPG) as shareholders representative, the Kingsbury Hall Board of Advisors, and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts Young Benefactors Board.

ClearLink is an interactive firm providing sales/marketing, call center management and website design primarily for large and mid-cap clients, including-Pepsico, CareerBuilder.com, Mrs. Fields/TCBY, DISH Network, Reuters, 3COM, DirecTV, ADT/Tyco and others.
James has been part of several mergers/acquisitions, including: the acquisition of Montigen Pharmaceuticals by west coast biotech SuperGen (NSDQ:SUPG), also the merger of OdysseyWeb.com with MWI, Inc. and the incubation of VoiceVault (joint venture with UV Partners) acquired by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Until recently he also served on the Board of Directors of Havens, Inc. (a private residence club-HYPERLINK “http://www.bellehavens.com/“www.BelleHavens.com) until its acquisition in early 2007.
